What will it cost to ride?
A standard transit fare, fully integrated with the existing system, with free transfers in both directions. There is no premium fare in any scenario the Coalition has put forward, and there will not be one.
We say this early and often because aerial systems elsewhere have sometimes been built as attractions first and transportation second. That is not what this is. A line that costs extra to ride is a ride, not a route.
Operating cost per passenger is among the strongest arguments for the mode. There are no drivers, no vehicles sitting idle between peaks, and no fuel. The savings belong on the fare, not somewhere else.
